Covid -19 Update
The public can really help the NHS to deliver our vaccination programmes effectively to those who need it most. Taking these simple steps will help us to help you.
- The NHS will contact you when it’s the right time to come forward, so please don’t contact us to seek a vaccine before then.
- Please act on your invitation when it arrives, and make sure you attend your appointments when you arrange them.
- In the meantime, please continue to abide by all the social distancing and hand hygiene guidance, which will still save lives.
The latest information on the COVID-19 vaccination programme is online on the NHS website. Local updates can also be found here.
We advise checking there first if you have questions about the safety or effectiveness of COVID vaccines, or your priority to receive vaccination.
***FLU VACCINATIONS - UPDATE FOR THOSE IN THE AGE GROUP 50-64***
PLEASE NOTE THAT PEOPLE IN THE 50-64-YEAR OLD AGE GROUP WILL NOT BE VACCINATED UNTIL NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER, PROVIDING THERE IS SUFFICIENT VACCINE, AND NO APPOINTMENTS WILL BE OFFERED FOR THIS AGE GROUP UNTIL THEN. THIS IS TO ENSURE THAT THOSE WHO ARE MOST AT RISK ARE VACCINATED FIRST. IF YOU ARE 50-64 AND YOU ARE IN ONE OF THE OTHER GROUPS WHICH IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE FLU VACCINATION, FOR EXAMPLE YOU HAVE A HEALTH CONDITION WHICH PUTS YOU AT RISK FROM THE FLU, YOU WILL BE INVITED EARLIER.
***Time to Learn Sessions 2020-2021***
Please see below poster with time to learn sessions scheduled at the surgery. The surgery will close at 1.00pm on these days and re-open at 8.00am on the following morning. Patient's should contact 111 with any medical issues during this time.

***PRESCRIPTIONS***
We are upgrading to the next phase of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which will mean that almost all our prescriptions will be processed electronically from 15th July 2020.
Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money.
You will receive your prescriptions in the same way as you do now.
Read more about EPS on the NHS website.
