These are obtainable after 2.30pm, three whole working days following our receipt of the prescription - Monday to Friday only (Saturday and Sunday not included).
Please note, if the repeat prescriptions are either dropped off or sent to the chemist, then please allow an extra day either side for collections.
They can be posted to you providing you enclose a stamped addressed envelope with your request. You will receive a computerised sheet listing your medication. Please tick which items are required then hand in to reception, post in the yellow box in the foyer or when the surgery is closed post through the letterbox at the front of the building.
Please ensure the name of your doctor is at the top of the prescription.
We regret that requests for routine repeat prescriptions cannot be accepted over the telephone or by fax, we can accept prescription requests by email firstname.lastname@example.org
There is a scheme in place whereby prescriptions can be collected directly from some local pharmacies, reducing the number of visits you need to make to the surgery. Please ask at your local pharmacy for further details.
Patients with chronic disease, ie diabetes, high blood pressure and asthma are required to have check-ups once a year. If you have any concerns, please make an appointment to see the nurse.
All patients taking the contraceptive pill should have consultations every six months with either the doctor or practice nurse. Repeat prescriptions are not issued without patients being seen.
